How to make Vegetable Stock - NUTRIWELL INDIA

The vegetable stock is very beneficial to health.Hence, it is recommended to include vegetable stock in our diet.

The ingredients of vegetable stock are:


For The Vegetable Stock 1/4 cup peeled and roughly chopped carrots and onions. 1/4 cup roughly chopped cabbage and cauliflower.= 2 tbsp roughly chopped celery (ajmoda)



  1. Combine all the ingredients in a deep pan with 6 cups of water and mix well.
  2. Simmer for approx. 20 minutes or till they release flavour.
  3. Strain using a strainer. Keep the stock aside and discard the vegetables.
Taste: Mild aroma of spices and veggies.
Serving Ideas: It can be used to make soup, curry and many other food dishes. Thick marinated vegetable stocks can be used as soup itself.
