Healthy snacks is one of the best things you can do to prevent health problems such as

high blood pressure,  heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and some types of cancer.

If you want to lose weight or just want to eat healthy food, then you are at the right place because today, we have compiled a list of food items which you can take to your office and enjoy as snacks whenever you feel hungry. So, instead of opting for the wrong food item which can hamper your weight loss goals, go for the following healthy snacks which will make you fill fuller and also aid in losing weight. Also, you can enjoy these snacks with a hot beverage such as Indian tea or green tea but make sure to use very less sugar or stevia as sugar can hinder the weight loss.

Yes, you read it right! You can have dark chocolate but not milk one. Also, make sure to eat the dark chocolate which has at least 70% cocoa solids in it. This chocolate is rich in flavanols which can combat blood pressure and heart disease risk among others.

Eggs are rich in many nutrients including protein and they are also filling. So, when hungry go for two hard-boiled eggs are you are good to go without worrying about weight gain.

Fox nuts which are commonly known as makhana aka Lotus seeds are one of the healthiest snacks one can munch on. They are low in calories and are rich in minerals. High BP people can go for it as it hardly has sodium in it. When hunger pangs attack, instead of eating any junk food which are trans fat laden one can opt for this.

  1. Roasted chana/chickpeas and peanuts

This particular snack is not only weight friendly but also inexpensive, satiating and easily available. They are packed with proteins, complex carbs. Make sure you do not add salt or masala to spice it up.
