The ingredients of mixed vegetable salad are:
Ingredients
To Be Mixed Into A Dressing
1 tsp olive oil or any other oil
1 tbsp lemon juice and 1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
1/2 tsp dried oregano
salt and to taste
Other Ingredients
1 cup shredded lettuce
1/2 cup sliced capsicum (red , yellow and green)
1/2 cup sliced baby corn and 1/2 cup bean sprouts
1 cup sliced carrots
Method
- Put the lettuce, capsicum and baby corn in a vesselful of ice-cold water for half an hour. This will make them crisp.
- Drain, wrap in a muslin cloth and refrigerate till ready to use.
- Just before serving, combine all the vegetables and the bean sprouts and carrots in a bowl, add the dressing and toss well.
- Serve immediately.
