The rajma masala is very beneficial to health.Hence, it is recommended to include rajma masala in our diet.
The ingredients of rajma masala are:
- kidney Beans [rajma]- 3 tbsp
- Onions- 2 tbsp
- Garlic- 1/2 clove
- Ginger- 1 tsp
- Oil- 1/2 tsp
- Green chillies finely chopped- 1/2
- Red chili powder- 1/4 tsp
- Coriander powder- 1/4 tsp
- Cumin powder - 1/4 tsp
- Tomato pureed- 1 tomato
- Salt- as per taste
- Fresh coriander leaves chopped- 1 tsp
- Garam masala powder - 1/4h tsp
- Soak the kidney beans overnight in water with baking soda.
- Pessure cook Rajma. Grind onions, garlic, ginger into a smooth paste.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add onion-ginger and garlic paste and saute it for a minute.
- Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and cook for a few minutes.
- Stir in the tomato puree and salt; mix them well. Covered and cook for 15-20minutes.
- Add garam masala powder and water (as required); cover and cook for another 10-15minutes
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
