Jute Artisans Guild Association, is a Voluntary Non Profit Organization, facilitating the rural poor women of Barabanki and Lucknow Districts of Uttar Pradesh (Inndia) to promote Jute Products as their source of livelihoods. It is supported by National Jute Board, Ministry of Textiles.
NJB has given 21 days basic and 15 days Advanced Training to approximately 2500 women artisans, of rular and urban areas of lucknow district. After getting thorough & rigorous training from Kolkata, Burdwan and Assam based trainers, the rural women, now united as a Federation are now producing Jute Bags as per the Domestic and Overseas market trends and designs.
Presently 150+ women Jute Artisans are associated with the Federation, dealing in manufacturing of JUTE DIVERSIFIED PRODUCTS for Seminars and Conference or any event or even Packaging for Industrial purpose. Proudly Our clients are spread all over the India. Federation is also having its own Import Export Code, enabling to do Export as well, without any hitch and hassel.
We are using natural and recyclable, golden fiber of jute to make variety of designs from Jute Fabric for official and industrial purpose. Our Jute Artisans now participating in Jute Fairs and Industrial Exhibitions gaining rich experience of market trends and designs of products having preference among various segments of Customers. The demand for eco-friendly utility products is increasing day by day due to plastic hazards.
To make these products available for sale in the open market, Retail Outlet named “JUTE SHOPPE” has been opened in Lucknow itself. The products can also be bulk ordered at “Gangotri Showroom” of UP handloom & Marketing Development Corporation of Lucknow.
